My Review

Amelia is sent to her cousins home in New York to teach her to be more lady like and find a rich husband that her brother, August, finds suitable.The night she arrives there is a dance being held at her cousins house, Amelia is completely out of the circle that her cousin, Zora has with everyone around but, that's just fine with her because Nathaniel has his full attention on her. Later that night Amelia has a vision, she tells Zora about it and soon it's all over town and people are calling for her to tell their fortune. After she saves a girls life by her knowing the future, Amelia feels as though she has done a good deed. But it isn't until it back fires that Amelia wishes she had never told anyone about her seeing the future.

Amelia sees Nathaniel almost on a daily basis' but it isn't until one night that she surprises him with a visit and finds out truly how he always seems to come out of no where around her.

This was my first historical read, even though it took some time to get use to the old timey talk it was really good. I didn't know what to expect when I read this book, I actually never read anything about it but I'm glad I got it! Zora and Amelia have a sister like relationship and are quite rebels for that time. Nathaniel was the most worst gentleman and best.

Even though it was very sad toward the ending, its worth it. The second book doesn't follow Nathaniel and Amelia, but Zora so I'm instreted in what the author will have in her life.

Entertainment Weekly has all new photos of The Hunger Games movie (due out in March 23rd 2012). The Magazine will be out the 29Th and have extras!

Obviously this will be the scene when Katniss talks about Peeta burning the bread *accidentally* and dropping it on the ground near her.

Looks like this is the part when Katniss is up in the tree and he's with the Careers maybe? What do you think?

I can't wait for the movie. It's acually really close! I can't believe their making it in such a short time, I always thought movies took longer!

Sorry I've been lacking with the blogging, I haven't been able to get to the Gallatin Library until last week and I have read two books so far, one review is already put up the second one will be put up tomorrow. Also blogger hasn't been letting me comment though I fixed that, turns out I can't stay signed in! Well anyway, hopefully I'll get on track and stay on it!

My Review

Claire has more issues then just her body, she can see her dead grandmother, and she can switch body's with other people. Not just anybody though, they for one must be born under the same moon as her and two, they must be within a mile.

But when Claire switch's with a beautiful girl who is only there babysitting for the summer she doesn't want to give it up, she finally catches the eye of her crush, Nate, and can act in whatever way she wants. She feels as though she has power over the people around her.
With having Nate falling seriously for her, she can't decide wither she truly, whole heartily, wants to be Claire ever again.

This book is more for a quick read because you don't want a big book or one in a series. It was alright. I wouldn't recommend it though. I did like the concept of when there is a lighting storm or any electricity that she switches body.

My Review

Abby has some serious issues that needs to be resolved, instead she ignores them completely and go about life as if nothing is wrong. Her best friend, Kristen is missing, but it isn't until they find her body that Abby accepts the reality and starts to slowly hit rock bottom.

She and Kristen has a favorite place next to the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, the river Kristen died in. One day Abby just randomly meets a boy, Caspian, there with blond hair with a black streak, they start to meet alot there.

Halloween night, prom night, Abby goes into hysterics goes to the river and gets into the rushing water, Caspian sees her there and begs of her to come out of the water. When she does he walks her home.The next day they meet at the library, but after what happens that day Caspian trys to avoid Abby the best he can.

I liked this book, but I didn't like it awhole lot because it did have slow parts in it. I think the next book will be alot better. Abby was very weird, she needed help badly. I hope she'll be better in the last two books. Caspian is really sweet but you don't really have much on him.

*start of spoiler* I think the reason why Caspian could touch her is because it was his anniversary of his death, BUT I have no clue why that would happen! *end of spoiler* I really liked that Abby made perfume, I thought that was so cool. Hopefully I'll be able to get the next book because I'd really like to see how Caspian thinks hes going to make things work!
